Frequently asked questions

How accurately do you estimate the arrival time?
We don't calculate the arrival time as mere dry data from an ordinary map. By law, buses have a lower permitted speed than passenger cars and need more time to pass through cities or to park. That's why we always include a logistical buffer for safe boarding, loading luggage and traffic, so you have the most realistic schedule possible.
How many breaks are mandatory?
Safety always comes first. Professional drivers must observe strict legal limits. As a general rule, after 4.5 hours of driving there must be a break of at least 45 minutes. We'll gladly help you plan these breaks into the itinerary cleverly, so they coincide, for example, with lunchtime or a visit to an interesting place along the way.
Can we change the route after creating the request?
So that carriers' offers are fair and precisely comparable, the main parameters of a request can no longer be edited directly after it has been submitted. If you need to make a substantial change to the route before choosing a carrier, we recommend submitting a new request. Minor details can then be easily fine-tuned directly with the specific carrier.
What data do you need for an accurate calculation?
To get the most accurate price, carriers mainly need to know the date, the exact boarding and drop-off points, the number of passengers (for the right bus size) and the schedule. Don't forget to state any stops along the way or special requirements (e.g. oversized luggage, skis or bikes), so you're not surprised by any extra costs later.
What if the plan changes during the trip?
We understand that anything can happen on the road. The driver will gladly resolve minor operational changes with you on the spot. Larger interventions in the route or significant delays, however, must always be communicated, because they can disrupt the aforementioned legal limits on the driver's driving time and can affect the final transport price.
